MistaJam Drops 'Do It Like This' on CID’s Night Service Only

Capital radio host Mistajam has unveiled his latest house release, a high energy track titled "Do It Like This" released under CID's label ‘Night Service Only’.

Inspired by the timeless beats of 90’s HipHop classics, Mistajam drew from the iconic lyrics of Masta Ace in "Crooklyn" by the Crooklyn Dodgers, infusing them into a dynamic house anthem. Recounting his creative process, Mistajam shared how he used his OG vinyl press to rip the vocals before refining the sound with the help of producer & good friend Adria Garcia.

With the support of his dedicated management team, Mistajam navigated the process of clearing the sample, expressing gratitude to the original writers of "Crooklyn" for their cooperation. Despite setbacks in securing a re-recording from Masta Ace, due to scheduling conflicts and personal loss, Mistajam adapted, ensuring the track's completion and eventual release with a re sung alternative.

The evolution of "Do It Like This" wasn’t confined to the studio; Mistajam actively tested the track in renowned venues across the globe, from Hï Ibiza to Pacha, Drumsheds, and Primer Festival in Athens before settling on the final product.
